Date of assessment: 7 and 11 November 2024 Selby Office provides personal care for adults, people living with dementia or people with a physical disability living in their own homes. At the time of the inspection there were 7 people receiving a regulated activity from the service. This is the first inspection for this service. People received care which was safe and appropriate to their needs. Risk assessments were in place. Medicines were administered and managed safely. Appropriate infection prevention and control measures were in place. People received person-centred care in line with their assessed needs. People were supported to improve their health. People received kind, compassionate care from staff who were suitably trained. People had consented to their care. The service was responsive to people’s changing needs. The service was well-managed with appropriate governance systems in place. Action was taken to track and learn from any incidents or identified concerns. People, relatives and staff knew the registered manager well and were comfortable speaking with them.
