During a routine inspection
We saw that people's care was appropriately assessed and their care needs fully identified. The provider encouraged staff to use the expertise of external health professionals and to consider people's care needs within the home as part of a larger activity.
The staff were well supported by the manager and appreciated the time and resources made available to them to develop their own skills and expertise. The manager actively encouraged all staff members to continuously develop their own skills. This investment was also appreciated by the people who used the service and provided them with additional reassurance that the care staff were appropriately trained and experienced to meet their care needs.
