The registered provider must ensure it can demonstrate via each service user’s admission assessment and subsequent care plan that a rural setting meets the needs of each service user, but also be able to detail the additional benefits for them from living in this type of environment.

Of the six service users permitted to be accommodated at HoneySuckle Lodge, only four service users can be long term placements at any one time. The remaining two service users must only receive short-term respite care unless the provider has the prior written agreement of the CQC should any additional service user need long term care.
