During a routine inspection
Patients told us that they received good support from staff.
They said that there were lots of activities to participate in if they wished to take part, but sometimes that depended on how they felt at the time.
Patients told us that they had opportunity to discuss their care plan and rehabilitation arrangements with a wide range of support staff.
We were able to communicate with some patients on Lavender ward with the help of an interpreter using sign language to get their views on the hospital. They signed that they enjoyed living on that ward, and felt well supported by the staff working there, who also communicated to people in sign language.
We were told that the food was good and plentiful.
Patients told us that the bedrooms were comfortable and cleaned daily.
