During a routine inspection
The home has accommodation over two floors and is divided into two suites for six people, this makes it feel more like a small home. We observed care to be personalised and communication between staff members and the people who live in the home was respectful and appropriate to their individual abilities.
During the inspection we spoke to two support staff and two people who lived in the home in addition to the manager and deputy manager.
We were told by the people living in the home that the home was "nice and friendly" and that they felt "safe and looked after", while staff told us that "this is a lovely place to work" and "the place is great".
There was an extensive range of activities on offer to the people who lived in the home and the uptake of these activities was driven by the people.
