During a routine inspection
People were regularly asked for their views about the service by means of satisfaction questionnaires. Senior staff visited a sample of people throughout the year to check that they were happy with their care from the agency. One relative told us the care workers were "first class, absolutely wonderful". One person said that any problems were always dealt with well. We saw that people's concerns had been acknowledged promptly and looked into thoroughly.
People told us that they felt safe with the agency's staff. The staff knew what to do if they were concerned that someone might be at risk. The manager and senior staff reported any concerns so that they could be looked into under local safeguarding arrangements.
We saw that there was a clear process in place to ensure that appropriate checks were undertaken before staff began work. We spoke with three care workers who all told us they were happy working for the agency and enjoyed their work. They felt well supported by the manager and office staff.
