Hardwick View is a residential care home providing personal care to younger and older people living with a learning disability, physical disability or a sensory impairment. The home can support up to 20 people; 20 people were living there at the time of this off-site assessment. The service consists of a large family home and an adjacent bungalow where one person lives independently. We expect health and social care providers to guarantee people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices and independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ is the guidance CQC follows to make assessments and judgements about services supporting people with a learning disability and autistic people and providers must have regard to it. An off-site assessment took place between the 28 March 2024 and the 16 April 2024. We reviewed the well-led key question focusing on Governance, management and sustainability. At our last inspection, this service was rated good. Following this assessment, the service remains rated good.
