Updated 24 April 2024

The registered manager met with us in an on-line meeting on 16 April 2024, having previously provided specific information to CQC. There were audit systems and processes in place to give the provider oversight of the quality of the service provided. Where any untoward incidents occurred, they were reported, recorded and action was taken to help reduce re-occurrence. People, their relatives, staff and external healthcare professionals were asked for their views and experiences of the service provided by Hardwick View. Feedback was very positive. The staff were supported to meet people’s needs. Staff were provided with supervision and training. However, the training matrix, used by the registered manager to monitor staff training requirements, did not contain the mandatory training for the Mental Capacity Act 2005. This was addressed following the assessment and staff will be offered this training in the coming months.
