People's experience of the service

Updated 27 March 2024

People living at the service and their families told us they were happy, and that staff were very kind and caring. Most people and their families said they felt safe. However, some relatives had expressed concerns around people who no longer lived at the service who had displayed agitated and sometimes violent behaviour. Care was delivered safely by staff who had received relevant training and supervision. People’s risk assessments reflecting people’s current needs and staff were made aware of any changes to people’s care. People’s capacity and ability to consent to care had been taken into account in planning and managing their care. The environment was homely, well maintained, clean and free from infection control risks. People and their families told us they felt listened to and supported by staff and managers at the service.
