During a routine inspection
People told us they were very happy with the service they received at the home. One person told us, 'I have no regrets moving here, I'm quite happy' and another said 'Very, very pleased with it.' People told us they were always consulted about their care and were asked for their consent to the care they were given.
Care plans provided staff with enough information to ensure people's needs were met. We saw that people's needs and abilities had been assessed and care and support was planned to ensure people remained as independent as possible. People were satisfied that their health care needs were met.
We saw that people could choose to join in group activities in the lounge or spend time on their own interests.
People were satisfied that they lived in a clean environment.
Systems were in place to ensure only appropriate people were employed to work at the home. Staff were knowledgeable about people's needs and able to support people in the way they wanted.
There were systems in place to ensure people's views were listened to and acted on.
