During a routine inspection
People told us about the service they received, `fantastic carers’, ‘they arrive on time’ and ‘they are part of the family’. Most people we spoke with said they would ‘feel confident about recommending this particular agency’.
Staff we spoke with said the people they worked with were lovely but they did not always feel supported by management. We found that staff training, supervision and appraisals were not up to date. The provider did not take adequate steps to identify the possibilities of abuse and take steps to prevent it occurring. This meant that people who used the service could not be assured of being cared for by adequately supported staff.
