During a routine inspection
People told us that they were able to visit the service before moving in to check that it was the right place for them. One person told us, 'my sons both came round, they went to see four and thought that this one was the best'. Another person explained, 'I came and had a look around with my sister'.
We were told that the staff were supportive and carried out their duties in a kind and patient manner. One person explained, 'I can't fault them, they've always got a cheerful smile'. Another person told us, 'the staff are very good and they do the best they can'.
People told us that they were very satisfied with the care and support they received. One person explained, 'the staff have been really great, you don't have to worry about anything here'. Another person told us, 'when you first come in, you don't know what to expect, but I've had nothing but kindness'.
We were told that the food served at Huntingdon court was good, and the meal served on the day of our visit looked nutritious and appealing. One person told us, 'the food is certainly tasty, it's good cooking and it's cooked on the premises'. Another person explained, 'the foods not bad at all and you get a choice everyday'.
