During a routine inspection
We met all of the people who live at Lion Road. Some of them were not able to tell us how they felt about the service, but we saw that they appeared comfortable and relaxed. The staff were kind and treated them respectfully, meeting their individual needs. One person who lives at the home told us that they were very happy there. They said that the staff were kind, looked after them and helped them have fun.
We found that people's needs were being met and that they were able to make choices about their lives and the running of the home. We saw that the staff were well trained and supported and that the organisation regularly monitored the quality of the service. The manager and staff work closely with other agencies, including the local health care services to make sure people get the support they need.
