During a routine inspection
We spoke with professionals who supported people and reviewed peoples care packages. They told us the agency communicated well with them, keeping them up to date with any changes in peoples care both verbally and in writing.
People we spoke with felt safe with care staff, one relative said, 'I feel safe leaving my wife with the care workers, because they understand her needs."
Of the six staff files we reviewed three did not have references on file. The manager confirmed that staff would not start work unless references had been obtained.
People told us they had been visited by the manager and spot checks had been undertaken. One person said, 'the manager came to my home and completed an assessment before they started to work.' Another said, 'I have no criticism, I'm very satisfied.'
