During a routine inspection
Staff we spoke with said that they found the risk assessments helpful in delivering the right care. They also said the care plans were clearly written and easy to follow. People who used the service all confirmed that their care records were stored in the home and that staff updated them at each visit.
One person who used the agency told us that staff were very helpful in prompting him to take his medication. Another person told us that if any changes occurred in her mum's medication, the staff always seemed to know about it.
There were effective recruitment and selection processes in place.
People we spoke with said they felt comfortable speaking directly to the manager or office staff if they had any concerns. They also told us they felt listened to and that the senior care workers or manager would deal with their concern if they could.
