Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
The registered provider must on the first Monday of every month, after this condition takes effect, send to the Medicines Team at the Care Quality Commission a written report relating to medicines audits, safe medicines administration and safe medicines storage including evidence of audits undertaken, audit findings, the improvement actions to be taken, details of who is responsible for these, timescales for completion, details of action taken to ensure the system is audited, monitored and continues to be followed.
These are to also include:
a. A review of all systems implemented for the safe management of
medicines, (including fluid thickeners).
b. Evidence that records about medicines, including ‘when required’
medicines and stocks are accurate and up to date.
c. Evidence of all training relating to all staff administering medicines
received to date including all staff competency assessments.

The Registered Provider must only accommodate a maximum of 42 service users at the Banksfield Nursing Home.
