All inspections: Rose Lodge Care Home - Care Quality Commission

We visited this location and were able to talk to four people who commented that they were 'treated well by staff', that staff were 'looking after their needs', and that they 'couldn't ask for anything more'. Further they confirmed that they had been given information about the home, including how to make a complaint.

People spoken with said that in the main staff were good. One person said "The staff here are really good".

Some of the people who used the service knew about their care plan.

There were no specific comments regarding medication from people living in the elderly mentally infirm unit. People in the residential unit told us that they had no concerns with the way that medication was managed.

One person asked us to look at the mattress on her bed and said that staff had been made aware of the problem.

Service users were asked about how they feel about living at the home and if they were happy with the care they received from the staff. All of them were complimentary and made positive comments about the service and staff.

Comments included: 'the staff were kind, and looked after them well.' There has been plenty to do and we are looking forward to Christmas.'
