During a routine inspection
People's care files provided clear information on their goals. For example, one person's care assessment stated their goal was to move into their own flat. We saw through care and support plans and on-going notes that the service had supported this person with their goal.
Relatives we spoke with were happy with the service their relative received. One relative told us, 'totally trust them all [the service]. It's a really good service.' Another relative told us, 'the carers are caring, and they [relative] have a good time'.
Care workers told us that they had attended safeguarding training and knew how to recognise and report abuse. We also saw the organisations training matrix, which showed that all staff had completed safeguarding training.
Care workers received appropriate professional development. We asked care workers if they had access to training. One care worker told us, 'I have the knowledge I need'. Another care worker told us, 'You get the training you need to meet people's needs'.
People's relatives we spoke with told us they felt able to raise concerns about their relatives care. One relative told us, 'I've made comments before, and the organisation acted upon these'.
