During an inspection looking at part of the service
A person told us that they would not wish for anything to change in the home and had told staff in their review that they were happy at the home and wished to stay there.
People told us that food is 'quite nice' and that they received food that meet their cultural needs. One person described the meat as 'a bit tough'.
People told us that they felt the staff keep the place 'clean and tidy' and that they were generally happy with their rooms and the environment in general.
People told us that there were no issues with the way they were supported to take their medication. A person told us that staff, 'always come in with them (tablets) in a little cup on time every morning.' One of the people living at the home told us that staff asked them if they would like to have the flu vaccination and an eye test.
A person using the service told us that their needs are met 'absolutely' by staff. Another person told us that 'staff are quite nice and not nasty in any way' and that they felt safe at the home. A visitor commenting on behalf of their relative told us that the staff were 'marvellous' and told us how they were able to sleep at night knowing that their relative was well cared for.
