During a routine inspection
We looked at how people were involved in the planning of their care and found people had individual care plans with a full care assessment. We found that people had regular care reviews with all people involved in their care. Where there was a change in a person's need or someone was not happy with an aspect of their care, this was addressed.
We spoke with staff about the delivery of people's care and found staff had a good knowledge and understanding of their care needs. We also found that staff were appropriately trained and had regular supervision so they could be supported to ensure people received quality care.
We looked at what systems were in place to prevent abuse. We found that staff had limited knowledge on reporting and identifying abuse. We also found for one person that there were no appropriate systems to help this person manage their money.
We looked at what monitoring systems were in place to ensure that people received safe and effective care and found that there was no system to regularly review the quality of the service being provided.
