During a routine inspection
We found staff to be well supported and appropriately trained. Methods for monitoring the quality of service provided had been established and systems had been developed in order to protect the health and safety of those using the service.
Comments received included:
"I am over the moon. They (the staff) are brilliant. They are three nice girls who come to see to my wife. They have her dancing. She loves dancing. They bring her 60's music to dance to, which she loves. I couldn't ask for more because they make her really happy."
"I cannot fault them. They have saved my life. They really have."
"My relative is used to routine, as he has dementia. We have the same carers coming for most of the time, which is important to him and he likes them both."
During our inspection we assessed standards relating to care and welfare and how people were supported to be involved in the planning of their own care. We also looked at how they were safeguarded from abuse. Standards relating to staff training and monitoring the quality of service provision were also inspected. We did not identify any concerns in any of the outcome areas we assessed.
