During a routine inspection
People who lived in the home looked relaxed with the staff. We saw that the staff communicated well with the people in the home, using various methods according to each person's needs and abilities. People told us about activities they liked in the community, such as music therapy and indicated that they enjoyed activities in the home such as touching favourite objects. People told us they were happy.
Staff told us about the holidays which people had been supported to take. These included trips abroad. We saw pictures of people enjoying various holidays and outings.
Relatives of people who lived in the home told us they felt their relatives were safe and well supported in the home. One said, 'everything's fine, she's been brilliant there'.very homely'the staff are very good with her'.
Relatives confirmed that they had been provided with information about how to make complaints, but said they would find it easy to talk with the manager.
