Our view of the service
Rhesus Care limited is a domiciliary care agency providing personal care and support to older people and younger adults, living in their own homes. At the time of the assessment, the service was supporting 5 people but only 1 person was in receipt of the regulated activity of personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive a regulated activity of personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. This was our first assessment at Rhesus Care Limited. New services are assessed to check they are likely to be safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led when they register with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). We carried out our on-site assessment on 30 October 2024. This was an announced assessment. The provider was told an assessment was going to be starting 48 hours beforehand. Our offsite assessment was concluded on 11 November 2024. During this assessment we looked at all quality statements from the safe, effective and well-led key questions.
