During a routine inspection
One person told us that they had been involved in the development of their care plan and that the carers provide the care that has been agreed.
Another person told us that Proper Care is the fourth care agency they have used and it is the best one yet with good and reliable staff. They added that a member of staff came to visit them and discuss their care need prior to the service starting and that the carers are reliable and dependable.
Another person told us that they enjoy seeing a variety of carers, they are all good timekeepers and their wishes regarding their care are taken into account by the agency. Another person told us though that they would prefer to see less carers and to have more continuity of carer.
Specific comments made regarding the carers and the care that they provide included:
'I am very satisfied with the service, the carers are generally very good although some are more particular about the little things'
'the carers are kind and helpful, always polite and chatty'
'if we have a new carer they are usually introduced to us by more experience carers who know us, so they know what needs doing'
'they have improved my husbands quality of life with their visits'
