Our view of the service
We carried out this on-site, announced assessment on 25 July 2024. We found the practice had met regulations. The practice had systems to manage risks. Recruitment procedures reflected current legislation. Infection control procedures followed published guidance. Patients’ care and treatment was provided in line with current guidance. Patients were treated with dignity and respect. At the time of our assessment, patients could access care, support and treatment when required. There was effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement. Evo Dental Dartford Clinic is part of Evo Dental a dental group provider. The practice is in Crayford, in the London Borough of Bexley and provides private implant dental care and treatment for adults. At the time of our assessment, the dental team included 2 dentists (including a sedationist), 3 dental nurses, a treatment co-ordinator who was also the practice manager and a lab process worker. The practice had 1 treatment room. During the assessment we spoke with 1 dentist, 2 dental nurses, and one of the organisations business managers.
People's experience of this service
Two weeks before our visit, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. Three comments were received and 100% of views expressed by patients were positive. Patients felt that they were respected, they were treated with care and compassion. They said that staff were friendly and helpful. The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We were told this was reviewed and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken. Staff gathered feedback from patients, the public and external partners and demonstrated a commitment to acting on feedback. We reviewed patient feedback gathered by the practice. Patients commented that the practice team were professional, friendly and kind. All patients who completed feedback commented very positively about the dental treatments they received. Patients commented positively about the premises and the standards of cleanliness.
