Our view of the service

We carried out this assessment from 26 June 2024 to 11 July 2024 and visited the site on 26 June 2024 and 11 July 2024. We looked at all quality statements from the safe and well-led key questions. We found areas of concern and good practice. We have not previously rated this service. This assessment did not cover all parts of our Single Assessment Framework, therefore we have only updated scores and ratings for those areas which we have assessed. We will carry out future assessments to cover other parts of the Framework and will update our website with our findings. We found 2 breaches of legal regulations in relation to safe care and governance arrangements. The provider did not always assess or mitigate risks to people’s health and safety and did not always operate effective systems to oversee the service effectively to monitor quality and safety. We have asked the provider for an action plan in response to the concerns found at this assessment. However, the provider had systems in place for addressing complaints and concerns. We found no concerns relating to safeguarding or infection prevention and control practices. The feedback from people about the provider and the service was positive. The provider worked in partnership with external professionals to meet people's care needs.
