During a routine inspection
All the people we spoke with told us that the dentist obtained consent for the treatment they received. One person said, 'The dentist gives me an option or asks me if it okay to carry out the treatment.'
Records showed that dentists carried out oral examinations consistently and offered appropriate advice. One person told us, 'The dentist was keen to tell me what colour brushes I should use in between my teeth to improve them.'
Arrangements were in place to minimise the risk of infection spreading. Treatment rooms and dental instruments were clean.
We found that staff had the appropriate checks carried out before they were employed.
All the people we spoke with were complimentary about the service. One person told us, 'I would raise concerns if I needed to but I am really happy.'
