During a routine inspection
We found there were appropriate infection control policies and procedures in place and being followed by staff. This meant people were protected from the risks associated with a preventable acquired infection.
We spoke with staff. They confirmed they had regular supervision and an annual appraisal. They told us the practice management had an 'open door' policy and were able to be approached informally with any concerns or queries. This meant staff had access to both formal and informal support and guidance.
When we spoke with people who had used the service, they told us they had not had any cause to complain. They told us they would raise any concerns directly with the dentist or practice manager. We saw the practice complaints policy was clearly displayed in the reception area.
