During a routine inspection
The provider acted in accordance with people's wishes before people had any tests undertaken. Staff confirmed that they would not take a test if people were unwilling. Staff had received infection control training and the location was clean and well maintained on the day of our visit. Specimens were safely transported for testing.
Records were kept securely and could be located promptly when needed. People's complaints were fully investigated and resolved, where possible, to their satisfaction. There was information about how to make a complaint and to give feedback about the service available in the reception area.
