During a routine inspection
We found people gave consent to their care and received care and support that met their needs. A person who used the service told us, 'They find out what I want them to do, they include me in everything.' Another person said, 'I get very good care, they do what I want, I only have to ask.'
We found improvements were needed to the arrangements for supporting people with their medication. The staff training matrix showed some care workers had not yet had medication training. A care worker told us, 'I feel confident doing the medication, but I want to do the training as soon as possible.' We also found the entries made in people's care plans about the medication that people took were not specific enough.
We found the staff team were supported through training and the provider assessed and monitored the quality of the service. A person told us, 'They are very qualified and suitably trained. They are very good at seeing what needs to be done. They do any little things that make my life better.' A relative told us, 'Nothing is too big or too small to sort out. I don't think I could find a better service, I can't fault them.'
