During a routine inspection
When people lacked capacity to make their own decisions the staff knew how to act to provide care and treatment in people's best interests. Clinical staff were trained and equipped to deal with medical emergencies. People were treated by staff who had been subject to recruitment checks to ensure they were appropriately qualified and safe to work with vulnerable people. Records were fit for purpose, held securely and kept confidential. Records were easily accessible when needed.
The practice and equipment was clean, tidy, uncluttered and well organised. There were satisfactory procedures, equipment and systems for decontamination and the prevention and control of infections.
