Midhurst Road is a residential care home providing personal care for up to 54 people, some of whom were living with dementia. We carried out this assessment on 14 March 2024. At the time of our assessment there were 43 people using the service. During our visit we spoke with 6 people living in the service and 5 relatives, to gain their feedback on their care and support. We spoke with 9 staff, including the registered manager, deputy manager, care and ancillary staff. We also spoke with 3 visiting healthcare professionals. We looked at 6 quality statements, Safeguarding: Involving people to manage risks: safe environments: Safe and effective staffing: Independence choice and control: Equity experiences and outcomes. The last rating for this service was overall Good, published 26 October 2017. At this assessment we found the service remained rated Good overall.
