During a routine inspection
People who were supported by Care and Support Solutions told us that they were respected by staff and had their dignity maintained. They were confident in the staff that supported them and felt that they were able to meet their needs safely. A professional worker told us, 'The support they provide is absolutely fantastic. They have really helped this person I work with. They have helped where other services had failed. The manager is wonderful. This service has really built up this person's confidence.'
We saw that the manager provided the support that was required by the people who used the service in a way that demonstrated their knowledge of each person's needs. When we spoke to people who used the service they told us:
'The staff are really very good. They help me with the housework, and help me when I am down as I can have good and bad days. I can talk to the support worker and the manager if I had anything that worried me.'
'I like the service. They help me to go out. I have confidence in the service; there are no problems with it.'
We saw that people who used the service were spoken to and supported in a sensitive and respectful manner. The staff told us that people who used the service were involved in day to day decision-making wherever possible.
