During a routine inspection
We spoke with the relatives/friends of five people who used the service. They told us that they were happy with the service their relatives/friends were provided with. One person's relative said, "We only have praise for them." Another said, "We have no concerns whatsoever."
We looked at the care records of eight people who used the service and found that they experienced care, treatment and support that met their needs and protected their rights. People were provided with their medication at the prescribed times. Where shortfalls had been identified in the medication processes, the provider had taken action to address them.
We looked at training records and spoke with two care workers. Care workers were provided with the training to meet the needs of the people who used the service. There were enough care workers to ensure that people's planned visits were covered.
The provider had systems in place to assess and monitor the service that people received.
