During a routine inspection
The people we spoke with were complimentary about the service they had received. One person told us, "No problems they are all brilliant.' Another person said "I like going there (the dentist) is lovely. The nurses are lovely and polite.' People told us they were given the information they needed to be able to make informed decisions about their treatment.
Staff received a range of training so that they had up to date knowledge and skills in order to treat people safely when they attended the practice.
People spoken with had no concerns about the cleanliness and hygiene at the practice. We found that generally there were effective infection control procedures in place. We discussed, with the registered provider, making some minor improvements to ensure the arrangements for infection control remained robust.
The provider had systems of audits in place to enable them to monitor the quality of the service provided. This made sure that people received appropriate care and treatment.
