During a routine inspection
We spoke with two patients, two doctors, the registered manager and three members of staff during our unannounced visit to the main office of Harmoni-Surrey.
Patients said the people who answered their call where "polite and helpful" and said that they rang back within the given timescale to give them the choice of going to a base or waiting for a home visit. "Handy", "efficient" and "don't change anything" were some of the comments made about the service.
The doctors we spoke with had worked for the service for many years and were GP's in the local area. They said they completed training through their GP practice and had not completed training in the protection of vulnerable adults but had a copy of the local authority procedure in the car and at the base.
