During a routine inspection
People spoke highly of the care and attention shown by their own dentist. This meant that people experienced care, treatment and support that met their needs and protected their rights.
Staff told us that they were confident that they would recognise and know what action to take if they observed any potential abuse. This showed us that people who use the service were protected from the risk of abuse, because the provider had taken reasonable steps to identify the possibility of abuse and prevent abuse from happening.
The areas we visited in the practice were clean and well maintained and the appropriate decontamination guidance was being followed. This demonstrated to us that people were protected from the risk of infection because appropriate guidance had been followed and they were cared for in a clean and hygienic environment.
Evidence was seen that the provider had systems in place to assess and monitor the quality of the dental services provided. This meant that people using this service could be assured of the standards of dental care provided.
