During a routine inspection
All the staff we spoke with told us that they were very well supported and that the training was 'fantastic' and that they were encouraged and facilitated to pursue their professional development.
We inspected five outcomes and found that they were all met. The service had systems in place that ensured all of the people who used the service had a full assessment of need prior to the service starting. A care plan had been drawn up using 'advanced care planning' this ensured that the person and their families were involved in defining the service for the person. People's dignity and independence had been promoted. The service had systems in place to investigate complaints. The service undertook reflective practice to review their work and identify any areas of fresh learning from the manner in which they delivered care and met the needs of the people who had used the service.
