During a routine inspection
We looked at the care files for 14 people who used the service and found them to be consistent and gave us no cause for concern. Each file had a person centred care plan detailing what each person could do for themselves and what staff needed to help with at each visit. We saw initial assessments which were comprehensive and included risk assessments. Where appropriate consent forms had been obtained for staff to assist the person with their medicines. We saw evidence that the daily notes had been appropriately completed and double signed by the people using the service where they were able too.
Overall, all the feedback about the provider was positive from both social care professionals and people who used the service. One person said "I have been extremely happy and impressed with the care my husband has received, and the kind and friendly attitude of the carers". One person also said the carers could be more social, but in the main people found carers to be helpful and caring.
