We found this practice was providing well led care in accordance with the relevant regulations and had taken into consideration appropriate guidance. The provider had made improvements in relation to the regulatory breach we found at our inspection on 8 February 2024.

Staff and leaders told us of the systems in place to manage risks for patients, staff, equipment and the premises. At the assessment on 19 June 2024 we found the practice had made the following improvements to comply with the regulation: We found that audits of clinical records and antimicrobial prescribing were carried out in line with guidance and action plans developed when required. NHS prescription pads were stored securely and an effective and robust system to monitor the use and issue of prescription pads was established. Fire evacuation drills were carried out in line with recognised guidance. Monitoring of completion of tasks to minimise the risk and spread of legionella were in place. We found that where required, action was taken to address any issues identified.

At the assessment on 19 June 2024 we found the practice had made the following improvements to comply with the regulation: Medical emergency equipment was available as stated in resuscitation council UK guidance. Systems to ensure all equipment was in working order and medicines were in date and were in place. Clear guidance for staff on how to complete these checks was implemented. Process to ensure that required pre employment checks were completed for new staff were in place. Information that was not available at our previous inspection, including references and employment histories, was present in staff records we reviewed. A satisfactory five year electrical safety certificate was obtained. All recommended remedial works were completed by a competent person.
