During a routine inspection
The support workers spoken to said that 'This is good company to work for'. They said that they received training prior to starting work and worked some shadow shifts with more experienced carers. This training helps them to deliver good care for the people they care for.
The manager we spoke to confirmed that currently the agency provides care for people in their own homes. They provide a mix of local authority and private care packages.
The staff employed by De Vere Care have undergone a set recruitment process; this included a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check and recent references.
