During a check to make sure that the improvements required had been made
We found that the screening process was explained to people and they were asked to give their consent before it was carried out. One person told us, "It was explained very clearly". We saw that full records were kept of the consultation, screening and results. One person told us, "I had a positive result for skin cancer and they got the results to me immediately so that I could take further action".
We saw evidence that before using equipment provided by other organisations the records were checked to ensure it has been maintained correctly to ensure its safety.
Staff confirmed to us that they had completed an induction about the clinical area they would be working in. One staff member told us, "I feel very supported by the company". However there were no records of ongoing professional development or refresher training to ensure staff stayed up to date with best practice.
The records showed that complaints had been dealt with in a timely manner and were investigated appropriately and any necessary action had been taken.
