During a routine inspection
People told us the service met their care needs and they were able to change the care they received when they needed to. People said they were involved in the planning and reviews of their care and confirmed their care workers respected their privacy and dignity.
People were complimentary about their regular care workers and said they were appropriately trained and knew what to do to meet their needs. They said the service made it clear how to contact the office with any concerns or feedback.
Staff told us they were supported well and had received mandatory training and other training relevant to the care they provided. Staff had a good understanding of safeguarding and this was regularly checked by the management. They said they regularly received supervision and competency checks.
We looked at four care plans and saw people's care planning included medical conditions, detailed information about care needs and how care should be delivered safely and appropriately. There were several monitoring tools in place and both formal and informal processes for people to provide feedback on the service they received.
