Home Instead Senior Care is a domiciliary care agency. At the time of our assessment, they were supporting approximately 44 people with the regulated activity of personal care. The assessment took place from the 5 June 2024 until 11 June 2024. We looked at 4 key questions, but we did not assess all quality statements during this assessment. For those areas we did not assess, we used the ratings awarded at the last inspection to calculate the overall rating. People were provided with good quality care. Staff had received training to support people to live well. People felt safe, staff were caring, kind and responsive to their needs. Staff were supported in their roles and there were enough staff to support people safely. The service was well led with quality assurance processes working effectively. We expect health and social care providers to guarantee autistic people and people with a learning disability the choices, dignity, independence, and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. Right support, right care, right culture is the statutory guidance which supports CQC to make assessments and judgements about services providing support to people with a learning disability and/or autistic people. We considered this guidance as there were people using the service who have a learning disability and/or who are autistic. The service met this guidance.
