Kindness, compassion and dignity
Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. The practice gathered patient feedback via text following appointments, and from on-line reviews. Full patient surveys were previously undertaken before COVID 19 restrictions were imposed. The practice had moved away from full patient surveys since then and were considering whether they would be re-introduced in future. From the patient feedback we reviewed, we saw patient satisfaction with the care and treatment they received, was consistently high. Patients did not experience any significant delay when seeking immediate treatment. People received care from staff who were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights, and of the importance of privacy and confidentiality. Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles, and their wellbeing was supported.
