During a routine inspection
We were concerned that safeguarding procedures were not always being followed. We found that a safeguarding concern had not been responded to correctly. People who used the service were therefore more vulnerable to the risk of abuse, neglect or harm.
We looked at records and saw that adequate recruitment checks were made and induction training had taken place. Most but not all of the staff told us that they felt well supported and that they received appropriate training to meet the needs of people they cared for. While additional training was being provided, there was a need for some further training for more complex levels of care. There were a range of systems in place to help monitor the quality of the service.
