During a routine inspection
The clinic appeared clean and well maintained. Patients confirmed that they were happy with the level of cleanliness. We noted that the provider had effective systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection.
Patients told us that staff were polite and professional. One person told us 'the dentist explained everything. He recommended a hygienist and offered cleaning. The place is clean and staff are very friendly.'
Patients were provided with clear information on treatment and costs. Their rights were protected and their needs were met. We found that records were fit for purpose and the provider had appropriate policies and procedures in place.
Staff told us that they felt well supported by the provider. We found that they were suitably qualified and held appropriate registration with General Dental Council.
We found that there were systems in place to monitor the quality of the service that patients receive. The provider took account of patients' comments and complaints in order to improve the service.
