During a routine inspection
During our inspection we looked at four people's files and saw that these were completed thoroughly and consistently. We spoke with three people who used the service and they told us that they were happy with the service they received.
We looked at how the service safeguarded people who used the service. There were systems in place to protect people from the potential of abuse and staff we spoke with demonstrated had a good awareness of what their role was. One person told us, "I would go straight to my manager and if they weren't available I would call the numbers on the staff room and reception wall."
The service had robust systems in place to manage cleanliness and infection control.
We saw evidence of regular audits, checks and feedback which were used to assess and monitor the quality of the service.
