During a routine inspection
Staff were knowledgeable about safeguarding procedures. They could identify the signs that abuse may be happening and were confident to report this to the appropriate authority. Measures were in place to protect people's finances.
Checks were carried out before staff commenced working with the service. Induction training was thorough. New and experienced staff had access to support and training to ensure they had the skills required to care for people appropriately.
Quality assurance procedures were in place and records showed these were used and were effective. Staff, people who used the service and their relatives were given opportunities to give feedback to the service and this was used to make improvements to the quality of care provided.
