Support Solutions (West Sussex) is a domiciliary care agency located in Worthing, West Sussex. The service provides personal care to adults living in their own homes, some of whom were living with long term health conditions, as well as conditions associated with old age and frailty. Not everyone who used the service received personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care, which includes help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. At the time of the assessment, the agency was providing care and support to 17 people.
At the last inspection undertaken on 27 July 2022, we found the provider in breach of Regulation. At this assessment, improvements had been made and the provider was no longer in breach.
The registered manager had improved oversight and management of risks relating to people’s health conditions. Monitoring of recruitment processes had improved and procedures for the safe recruitment of staff was in place.
We carried out our on-site assessment on 19 March 2024, assessment activity started on 15 March 2024 and ended on 22 March 2024. We looked at 15 quality statements within the key questions of Safe and Well-led.
